Sometimes people call us when they are already in the middle of a project and need a new contractor to help finish what someone else started. Never a good day when a client has been ghosted or had to fire their contractor. That was the case with this shower. Demo was done and he had started on the tile work but quit showing up.
We are not always able to jump in immediately to help in these situations, but for this one, the timing was just right for us both. We were glad to help them finish the shower!
Things you won’t see — we also raised the dropped ceiling in the shower and updated to old light to a shower light/fan.
We needed a new shower floor tile since we had to remove the other one. I wanted to find something in stock so we could start asap on the project, so I went to a local supplier, Black Lion Tile Supply, and found a 2″ square shower floor tile in stock that coordinated with the existing wall tile the client had purchased. The 2″ squares line up perfectly with the Schluter drain which is 4″ square. Very clean finish! They also look great in the shower niche!
